Hi Everyone,

Well we had our awards dinner and I thought everyone had a good time. The food was good the company was great and we did have lots of fun.
We want to congradulate everyone that one in there division which was 19 people. I still have 3 gifts for people who could not attend the dinner. I will keep them all until we start racing again which we hope will be in January. We will keep you informed about that also. We can only hope that next year is as good as this year way. Those of you who were not at the dinner here is the new officers for next year. President is Richard Dunbar, Vice President is Ray Dibble, Secretary/Treasurer is Sharon Haley, our members at large at the following: Brian Berry, Jon Peacut, Troy Dewell and Bob Fischer. We will keep you informed about a meeting for next moth, we have talked about holding off on it until January, but we will keep you all informed. Here is hoping that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family. We hope to see you all next year.

Hello Everyone,

This is just a reminder about the Awards Dinner on Saturday night at Brick’s Roadhouse 1800 Churn Creek.  Time is 6:00.  There is a white elephant gift exchange if you want to join in on the fun the gift is limited to $15.00  it can be passed around 3 times.  Also dress to be comfortable.  We are going to be in a small room so make sure just in case to bring a sweater.  We will be announcing the new officers for next year also.

Remember the club is paying for your dinner you are responsible for your own bar bill.  Those of you who have no paid me yet for your dinner I will collect that money at the dinner.  You can either pay me in cash or write a check to the club.  We hope that you will all have a good time and please drive carefully.

I am sorry but I was informed today that I have left off a name for a member at large Gary Brandtley and I am so sorry but I did not write down his name at the meeting.  Like I said I was only informed today, so please keep Gary in mind he is a member of the club and a great person on top of it.  See you at the meeting tonight.  If you have already voted and want to change anything you can still email me up until 4 to make sure that I have everything to take with me to the meeting.

Could you get the word out to the club that on Nov. 7^th we are having our Ironman 500 event. For $100 anybody with a car, any type with a roll bar, seat belts and crash helmet can run. That’s twenty cents a lap!!! and there will be up to $1000 in prize money depending upon entry’s. If they have raced in the last two years they can’t run but anybody else can. Any type of car or truck with safety stuff.

Hello Everyone,

Just a quick note that Danny is stepping down from secretary he will still run for President.  Also any  one who has not contacted me about the awards party please do so or you will be left out.

Well since our meeting we have had one person decline which is Glen Cash, so he will not be running however I did get another email to elect Danny Ide for President, so now we have the following:

so keep all this in mind for when you are voting at the next meeting and we will announce the new officers at the awards dinner.

A lot of people were missing last night which I was totally shocked by this since it was the night to elect officers.  So here are the people who were nominated:

President:   Glen Cash, Mike Rogers and Richard Dunbar

V- President:  Ray Dibble

Secretary:  Sharon Haley and Danny Ide

Members at large:  Brian Berry, Troy Dewell, Jon Pecaut, Bob Fischer and Francy Winterburn

Now we are going to keep the lines open on this until November 10th so if you want to elect someone into one of these positions please email Sharon and she will make sure they are put on the ballot for voting.

We also elected last night since we have another meeting before our dinner we will be voting at the meeting and not at our awards dinner.  So if you can’t make the meeting again please email Sharon your votes and she will get them into the totals.  The officers will be announced at the dinner.

If you are planning on attending the dinner  or not on November 21st at 6:00 at Bricks Roadhouse please email Sharon so that she can get a count on how many people we will be having for dinner.  Also please send in your check before the dinner to Trinity Touring Club PO Box 493234, Redding, Ca 96049.   If for any reason you have a problem with sending in the check early just call Sharon and she will deal with the problem.

Well I have to say we had such a good group this weekend, everyone was having a great time,  the BBQ was fantastic like always with Randy Phelps doing all the cooking as usual and the meat and chicken was out of this world.  A special  thank you to Randy for doing all the cooking for us he is just one great guy.  Also want to thank everyone who came to the BBQ and brought something delicious for us to eat.  We had so much food left we had another meal on Sunday for the whole club again, it was just great.

Now to our Winners, I have to say this was a real treat the last two days.  David Winterburn won top time of day on saturday  and sunday.  What a driver he has become good going David.  Then on saturday top pax went to our own Jon Peacut good goin Jon.  Then on sunday we had a three way battle for pax which was between, Jon Peacut, Scott Murchison and Troy Dewell.  Oh this was so much fun to watch these guys they  were not going to give an inch to anyone, but in the long run it went to our own Troy Dewell, way to go Troy.  You three made more people hang around to see who was going to finish on top and everyone was so excited to watch this happen.  Congrats to all of you, you all deserved it.

We also had an accident on the last day of racing and it was our President Richard Dunbar, he ran into the fence and messed up the car, but they car can be replaced the person driving it can’t be and we were so glad and happy that Richard was not injured.

You made the race of the season so exciting to watch.

One more note that I totally forgot and I do apologize for it I want to thank Jon Peacut for attending the Subaru Club friday night, he brought quite a few people into join us racing and only hope that they had a good time. We also want to welcome them back at anytime.

Thanks to all of you.We also had some out of town clubs come to join us too and one of those people also had Troy on pax for sunday and that was Keith Castonguay is only missed out by .009 and that is the closest we came this year.  So congrats to Keith also for such good driving.  Hope we will see more of you next year.   All in all this was so much fun to watch and we can only hope that we can do this all again next year.

Now down to business we have a meeting tomorrow night at Upper Crust Pizza at 7:00  if you can’t attend and want to nominate someone  for office you can email me (Sharon) and I will make sure they are put up for the nomination,  I am pretty sure everyone has my email but just in case haleychatterbox@sbcglobal.net.  Also please remember that we will be voting on the new officers at the awards dinner.   Also please remember about the awards party which is November 21st and 6:00 at Bricks Roadhouse 1800 Church Creek is the address, and it use to be Cool Hand Lukes before that.  Everyone that plans to attend it will cost you $20.00 per couple and the club is not responsible for the drinks,  everyone will pay there own bar tab.  If you are going to attend the party  I need a total count by the end of this month.  I would appreciate if everyone could please send in there money early and you can send it to Trinty Touring Club  PO Box 493234, 96046.  If this is a problem for anyone please call me and we will work something out.

Well I just received my email from Mike Rogers who also won his division up in Medford and he also took top time of day.  Congrats to Mike, David and Troy.  All turned out well and so glad to have so much fun with these friends.

Hope to see you all this weekend at the races don’t forget it’s a two day race and our BBQ dinner too.  See you there.
