Hello Everyone,

This is just a note for set up on saturday May 14th at 5:00.  We always like to have more than necessary for set up for not a big deal if you can’t show up for it.

But just remember that we will be racing on sunday May 15th hope to see you all there.

Well its that time again for another meeting.  It will be on May 10th at the Sailing Boat on Church Creek.  The meeting will start at 6 like normal.  We race again on May 15th and hope to see you all there.  Also we would like to discuss the BBQ at this meeting if possible to get some insight on it, so please try to attend this meeting.  Hope to see you all at the races.

Well everyone we started with new season off with a bang,. We had over 40 drivers alot of new people too which makes it even more rewarding to the club. I want to thank Brian Berry and Blake Dewit for being our race stewards, this is the first time for both of them doing this and boy did they do a great job, so a big thank you. I also want to thank Lynette DeMars for helping big time with the board today. She is such a great help and we miss her when she is gone so hopefully she will be back in Redding soon. We also had a new person with his dad show up for our meeting last month, they came and and raced with us today and guess what Patrick you have a small trophy coming to you, So when you show up next month I will have it for you. Well I hope that everyone had a wonderful time day it was a little on the warm side by everyone had a good time, so we will see you at the next meeting (I will keep you informed about that too) we are going to have to meet early for the next two months because we are racing before our meetings and we need everyone on the same page for racing events such as our BBQ in June. Thanks again to all who set up the track too. Sorry I almost forgot to tell you that Scott Murchison won Pax today and Blake Dewit won Top time of day. Congtrats to you both. I really try to hard not to forget anything when we are racing but it is very hard and I have to acknowledge a young lady that races with us and have for several years now. I found out today she is 12 and almost as tall as I am which is 5’6′, so she ran her cart today and she is just one heck of a driver in that thing. I want to say to Georgia Earle that you are just awesome young lady and your parents I know are very proud of you too. So keep up the good work and if you don’t stop growing pretty soon dad said he is gonna have to put you in a car. So congrats to you. And thank you for racing with us we all adore you.

This is it everyone the start of our new season is this weekend April 17th so come out and be ready for some good racing,

The weather is suppose to be great and Brian Berry and Blake Dewit are going to be our race stewards, this is the first time for both of them doing this so go easy on them, if you have a question they can’t answer they will be happy to send you off to see Rick Dunbar.  I have a few requests from Brian so here they are:  if you have not raced with us this year please come early to have your car teched.  Also please everyone who has there t-shirts to please wear them so new people know we are part of the club and can ask us questions.  Also when you sign up please let Sharon know if you want to do any fun runs after the racing.

OK set up time is saturday at 5:00 if you can make it please come and help set up the track otherwise we will see you on sunday for opening day racing.

This is just a reminder about our meeting on Tuesday at Sailing Boat restaurant.  Please remember our meeting place has changed.  The Sailing Boat is just the other side of the street from Upper Crust Pizza.  We will be meeting in the back room, so when you enter the restaurant just tell them you are there for the car meeting and they will show you where we are.

We will meet at 6 like normal and the meeting will start at 7.  This is season start for racing so please try to be at the meeting if at all possible.

Hi Everyone,

Ted and I could use some help we want to clean out the trailer before we start our normal season which is April 17th.  We are going to try this on sunday April 10th at 10:00AM.    If you can come down and help out and it would be greatly appreciated.  We also will need help putting up the new board, so like I said if you can come and help great.  We only need about 4 people total to do this.  If you can make it please let me know.

Hello to everyone,

Well again I want to acknowledge our little trip to Medford. Not only did David Winterburn win top time of day, all of our drivers won there divisions. I just received the newsletter from Michelle and I was in shock to see the Blake Dewit won his divisions, Brian Berry won his division and Ted Haley won his too. We have some awesome drivers in our club and I hope they keep up the good work for this season when we start on April 17th.

Congrats to all the drivers that went up  for enduro they are always tons of fun.

We just got back from Medford, we were at the Spring Enduro. David Winterburn, Francy Winterburn, Blake Dewit, Brian Berry, Hal Gjermann and Ted Haley. We all have a great time. David got into a little trouble. But before I get into that I want to tell you that again our David won top time of day. He is just awesome when it comes to driving that little car of his in Medford. I got a call from Francy on friday morning which I though they were already up at the track and no they had not even left yet. So David had to stay up all night to get the t-shirts done for the race up there. He is process he got something in his eye. Well it got to the point when he got to Medford he went to an eve doctor and there was no doctor to see him. So he then went the clinic to see if they could get it out. Well they worked on him and we guess they got it out what ever it was, but in the mean time just messed up his eye some horrible. So saturday night Francy had to take him over to the emergemcy room because Dave was in to much pain. Nothing to say the least of this man, he stayed in bed all day saturday and we finally saw them this morning at around 10. He took it easy for a little while and then he said I am going to race and we pulled the car out of the trailer, he went to work changing the tires and we all watched him race. So it just goes to show you how someone can even race with all this going on around him. I for one give him a ton of credit but that is just me. OK enough of that don’t forget about our meeting in april. See you all next month.

We are changing the date of our next meeting.  It will now be on April 12th at the Sailing Boat 2772 Church Creek.  The meeting will start at 7 and social hour is still at 6.  The new place for our meetings should be alot nicer and friendly.  We changed the meeting because our normal meeting would have been on the 19th of April and since we race on the 17th, we thought we better have a meeting before racing.  So please try to attend and I will put out a reminder to everyone before the meeting.  The new place for the meeting is just across the street from Upper Crust Pizza, so everyone should be able to find it.

Well it was another fun day at the races.  We only had two run groups but they were fun and entertaining especially when Jerry Shaha is around.  He just had to do his spin out while it was raining because he wanted me to do a rain dance for him and I said no no no rain until we are done.  Well as usual that didn’t happen either.  We got rain while the second run group and racing.  Everyone seem to do very well in the rain because we did have some new drivers.  And gotta tell ya they all did great.  But that’s nothing new either.  Blake Dewit had the best time of day on his very last run with a 48.05.  We were beginning to wonder if he would get top time of day because all the other runs he had he was hitting 5 cones per run.  But he pulled it out and did a great job.  Congrats to you Blake.

One more thing we are changing where we are having out meetings we will now be meeting at the Sail Boat which is across the street from Upper Crust.  The meetings will still be on the third tuesday of every month social at 6 and meeting at 7.  Please make sure that you don’t go to Upper Crust Pizza by mistake.  The told us after the last meeting that everyone that came to the meeting had to order something to eat.  We not everyone can eat there food, so we changed our meeting place.  It will be the same way if you want to eat you can or you can order a drink.  It is a nice place to eat if you never have.
