Well it was another fun day at the races. We only had two run groups but they were fun and entertaining especially when Jerry Shaha is around. He just had to do his spin out while it was raining because he wanted me to do a rain dance for him and I said no no no rain until we are done. Well as usual that didn’t happen either. We got rain while the second run group and racing. Everyone seem to do very well in the rain because we did have some new drivers. And gotta tell ya they all did great. But that’s nothing new either. Blake Dewit had the best time of day on his very last run with a 48.05. We were beginning to wonder if he would get top time of day because all the other runs he had he was hitting 5 cones per run. But he pulled it out and did a great job. Congrats to you Blake.
One more thing we are changing where we are having out meetings we will now be meeting at the Sail Boat which is across the street from Upper Crust. The meetings will still be on the third tuesday of every month social at 6 and meeting at 7. Please make sure that you don’t go to Upper Crust Pizza by mistake. The told us after the last meeting that everyone that came to the meeting had to order something to eat. We not everyone can eat there food, so we changed our meeting place. It will be the same way if you want to eat you can or you can order a drink. It is a nice place to eat if you never have.
