There will be no meeting next month and we are going to try to find another place to have our meetings. I will try to keep everyone informed as to what is going on when we get back from Wisconsin. We are leaving tomorrow morning, so please be a little patient with me until I can get with everyone when I get back.

I also have awards that I will call and make arrangements with these people to either pick them up and I will deliver them.

Thank you all for one fantastic year, Richard and I appreciate all that was done to help us.

I want to remind everyone that we will be having a meeting on Nov 15th at the Sailing Boat on Churn Creek the meeting will start at 7.

We will be voting for the next set of officers, so please if you can’t make the meeting and want to vote please email me back with who you want to vote for and I will print them out and take them to the meeting for counting. You all know how important it is that you vote, so please make sure to do this. Hello Everyone,

We had our year end party last night and it was so much fun to be able to talk to everyone without shouting and yelling over all the cars. Peaceful and nice it was not even noisy with all that showed up.

We had a great dinner, very nice awards for our winners and just small talk with everyone.

Want to especially thank David, Katie and Francy Winterburn for the hosting of the party at there place of business. It all turned out so well so a big thank you to you all.

Also thank you to Katie Winterburn and Barbara Phelps for taking a lot of food. Katie kept some for her school there and Barbara took the balance of food to One Safe Place and everyone was thrilled to receive the food. I also want to thank Jon Peacut and Maryann for coming to the party since Jon sold his car and quit the club. It was great to see you both.

We hope that everyone had a good time. Don’t forget we have another meeting this month on November 15^th and we will be voting that night for the new members of the board. This is who is running incase anyone wants to add someone.

Well its time for our year end party. This is final event of the year and it is lots of fun, so we will see you all there.

Don’t foget we have a white elephant drawing (this is not mandatory) those who want to play this game because it does get fun in the end, you buy a gift not to go over $20.00. We will have dinner and then present the awards for the evening.

The dinner is a cost of $20.00 (which some have already paid) those who have not paid Sharon will collect your money at the dinner. A Single person only pays $10.00. The dinner will start at 6:00PM.

Directions to the dinner: North

1. Take the I 5 north exit at Cypress and turn left. Go under the freeway pass (there is a Lumberjacks on the left side of the street corner) turn left once you turn the corner there is a bowling alley on your left side of the street once you have past it turn left into the parking lot. There is the Liquor Barn in the same parking lot. The party is all the way in the back at Custom Imprints: 2655 Bechelli Lane, Redding

Directions to the dinner: South

Take the I 5 south exit at Cypress. Once you exit the freeway stay to your right to make a turn and get over into the left hand turn lane. Once in the turn lane to go left turn left and watch for the bowling alley on your left so that once past the bowling alley you can turn left into the parking lot. Liquor Barn is also in this parking lot. The party is all the way to the back of thee parking lot at Custom Imprints: 2655 Bechelli Lane, Redding.

This is really easy to find, but if you get lost I will have my cell phone on me at all times to help you out.

I can’t believe what an awesome weekend in racing we had. This was a brand new experenice again for the club. On saturday monring we were down until 10:45 and then we go going. There was a major problem with the timing equipment and the computer. But again our guys came though it and we got to go racing. We also had a very nice crowd on both days of racing.

Brian Berry stepped up to the plate again became our race director and now all the guys want him to do it all year. We I don’t think that is going to happy however if he wants to do it he can. It seems everyone has a good time racing no matter who does the track and they are always all different in the long run. So BIG BIG BIG thanks to Brian for all he is doing for the club, he has become a very good friend and he loves the club. Always knew he had good taste. Ha ha

OK now for our winners which I guess I should be surprised but I was not but very happy to our winners. They were the same for the two days. David Winterburn took time time of day for saturday and sunday, and then we had Oliver Taylor win pax for both days. Congrats to you both. We keep trying to get Oliver and Jenna to come down more, but we all have busy schedules, but they know they are more than welcome anytime. I wasn’t there to long either day but I did get to see all of our friends from Medford and Eureka and it is always fun to meet new people from there too which I did this weekend. I am sorry that everyone was worried about me I just wanted everyone to have a good time.

Than there are my true to life friends and they all know who they are that helped so much with the BBQ. As usual Randy and Barbara put out a lot of food and we had a great group this time. We had a ton of food and everything was just fantastic. So thanks to you both for a great job and to Randy for the good eats.

Thanks also to all out set up guys, because I was shocked last night when Brian called me at 6:45 and he was just leaving the track. That was a long day for all of you so thank you again for hanging in there with the club and taking care of business.

Our next event if our Year End Party please I have to know if you are coming or not I have to have a count for the catering please. Just send me an email and how many people you will bring. Need this by the end of October.

ok everyone we had a very nice meeting last night and we will be setting up on friday at 5:00 if you can make it. We will have our BBQ saturday night at around 6:00 so make sure that you bring a dish to have with the meat. The club is providing the meat, soda pop and water anything else you may bring to drink if you want your own liquor or beer. Please make sure to bring a chair.

The year end party is going to be November 5th at the following address: Custom Imprints 2655 Bechelli Lane, Redding. This is a very easy place to find and I will be printing out some maps for location. We will have the white elephant gift exchange for a contribution of $20.00. Also there will be a chage for the dinner of couples $20.00 and $10.00 per single person. I need to know how many of you are planning to attend the dinner because we have to have a final count by the end of this month. Go make sure to get back to me on this.

Also we have descussed keeping the voting open for more nominations for more people to nomation someone, so we won’t be voting on this until the meeting in November not at the year end dinner.

Well it is time for our meeting again which is next Tuesday at the Sailing Boat at 7:00 our social hour is at 6:00 and sometimes it can be very interesting. So this is going to be our last race for the year, so I hope that you can all come for it plus we have our big BBQ on saturday night. Always good food with our great cook Randy Phelps. Also don’t forget this is like a big pot luck dinner so everyone needs to bring something to eat. We do also normally have enough food left over for sunday lunch. The club provides the meat and soft drinks, so make sure that you bring a chair to sit on and your own liquor if you plan on drinking. Also if you plan on drinking a lot of the camping group has room if you need to spend the night. Hope that doesn’t happen but just in case.

So I hope that we see you all at the meeting.

Well all I can say is that everyone did very well up in Medford. According to my source that was up there racing he had a blast and so did our crew that went up except maybe Danny Ide. He had a rod go through the oil pan so he did not get to race his car.

However Randy Gruhb was nice enough to let Danny Ide drive his car and he came in second in class DM,
Blake DeWitt and Bo Jensen ran the F500 and Blake has fast time of day in his class FM, our lady Lynette De Mars ran her Miata in STR and came in second, Bruce Lamb ran his Subaru in STX and placed third,, Troy Dewell ran his Miata in CSP and won his class. Now Brian took his new little Ford Focus up to Medford and ran it in H Street but he didn’t tell me how he finished, but that’s great at least he got to test it out for our last race coming up.

And again we give credit where credit it due. You all did very well and the club is very proud of all our drivers so congrats to you all.

Then again there is David Winterburn, just can’t say enough about this man he is just a great driver and has a great car to back him up again he won Fast Time of Day which is a good honor. Congrats to you David for another jbo well done.
