The Trinity Touring Club is hosting the finale of the Shasta AutoX Challenge Series on Saturday and Sunday, September 10th and 11th, at the Shasta Speedway in Anderson.  We are also kicking off our 2022 fundraiser – this year we are supporting two local charities helping the less fortunate in our community enjoy the holiday season, Toys for Tots and Adopt a Family.   The best way to support our fundraiser is to come out and race with us!  All net proceeds for the September weekend will go toward donations.

This year’s raffles include a 2023 Season Pass and donated items from our sponsors. Participate in the fundraiser for as little as $5 and have a chance at winning some fabulous prizes in the general raffle.  For a chance at winning the 2023 Season Pass, or other big ticket items from our sponsors, tickets are $25.  Enter the raffle(s) as part of your online registration.  We will also take cash / credit / checks at the track during the events.  Raffle drawings will be held at our year end celebration Enduro weekend October 15th & 16th and you do not need to present to win.  If you would like to just enter the raffle(s) and do not plan to race, go to MSR and enter online at msreg.com/ttc2022fundraiser . 

We are looking for additional raffle donations, so please reach out to me or Jeremy if you have items or services to donate as part of the raffle – feel entitled to ask your employer or your favorite local business if they would like to support us in raising money for local families!.

It was another hot and fast weekend of autocross racing at the Shasta Speedway!  Thanks to everyone who made it out and to our club members for making the event run very smoothly.  We had low car counts and a short track, so it was 6 runs to the checkers with fun runs both Saturday and Sunday on a spectacular, wide and free flowing track.  We were done by about 1pm both days and beat the worst of the heat. 

David Winterburn swept the Top Time for the weekend in his JBS Sports Racer, laying down some rippin laps and only slightly slowed down by the slalom that was added to the course on Sunday to improve safety.  In PAX it was Boris Podtetenieff in the Tesla Model S Plaid taking the win on Saturday, and Brian Berry in the Ford Mustang Ecoboost HPP with a margin of victory of just 0.083 on Sunday over Boris.

We are back at the Shasta Speedway for the points season finale and annual fundraiser September 10th and 11th – plan to join us!

Start times are moved back one hour to help beat the heat.  Driver’s meeting for groups 1 & 2 is at 8am.  Groups 3 & 4 driver’s meeting is at 11am.  This worked out fantastic for our July event so we hope you will get up early and come race with us.
