We had a lot of fun racing with the Corvette Club at Thunderhill last weekend.  The results have been tabulated and updated for our points season, so please review them to ensure all is accurate.

Results

Jeremy McNeely was the fastest racer, taking Top Time in his XP Miata not only for the TTC group but for the whole event, both days.  Blake DeWit did the same for PAX in his ES Miata.  Boris Podtentenieff ran 2nd both days for Top Time and PAX.  There were some fast Corvettes there for sure, but not fast enough!  

Our next event is coming up July 16th & 17th at the Shasta Speedway and registration is open now.

We’ve gotten our wires crossed with the Fairgrounds and won’t be able to race this weekend.  Registration is open for the July 16th weekend, which will be our next TTC race in Anderson.  If you want to check out some circle track racing action this weekend, head to the Shasta Speedway https://www.facebook.com/ShastaSpeedway for racing Saturday night.

Other clubs in our Region are hosting events between now and mid July, so no excuse not to head out and join up with them for some autocross action!

We are at Thunderhill this weekend, and returning to Anderson the following week.  Registration is now open for Saturday and Sunday, June 11th & 12th, at the Shasta Speedway.  Register now to get your preferred run group as the popular ones will fill up!  Novices and first timers are always welcome!

Workstation assignments will be given at the driver’s safety meeting.  All racers are required to attend the driver’s meeting and work a station.

– Gates open at 6:00pm Friday for track setup.   Please come by and help us out with setup if you can!  The more folks, the quicker it goes!

– Driver’s Meeting at 9am under the cover, followed by run groups 1 & 2

– Fun Runs / Open Practice for registered racers if time allows
