We had great weather for two days of autocross racing at the Shasta Speedway – a huge thanks to everyone who made it out to spend the weekend with us!  

Saturday saw Nate Woodmency at the top of the speed chart in his KM classed kart, with Jeremy McNeely close behind in his XP turbo Miata.  Garret Murphy took the PAX win in his STX classed 300ZX.  David Winterburn returned to the track Saturday with his newly rebuilt, Hayabusa-powered JBS Sports Racer for some shake down, and took top time on Sunday with a blistering 39.06 run.  Apparently one front wheel touching the ground is enough to steer that thing.  Keith Smith took the PAX win Sunday in his CAM-T Camaro.

That’s a wrap for pre-season!  We are watching the weather to see if we do an Enduro style event or a traditional autocross for our season kick-off March 26th & 27th – stay tuned, and be sure to bookmark our Schedule.  Plan to join us!  If you haven’t joined the Club as a member yet but want to compete for season awards, now is a great time to join the Club!

– Gates open at 4:30pm Friday for track setup.   Please come by and help us out with setup if you can!  The more folks, the quicker it goes! – Jeremy McNeely is our Competition Director and will be our track setup guide
– Campers are welcome!  Stay for the weekend!
Saturday 02.19.2022– Gates open at 7:30am for registration check in- Driver’s Meeting at 9am under the cover, followed by run groups 1 & 2- Lunch break – we are on our own for lunch
– Driver’s Meeting for late registrants, followed by run groups 3 & 4
– Fun Runs / Open Practice for registered racers if time allows
