Racing is on for Sunday 01.29.2017!

Our first pre-season race is rescheduled for this Sunday, January 29th. Setup is Saturday starting at 2pm for our planned clean-up. Randy Phelps is our Race Director and will bring us maps for setup.

Please arrive early enough on Sunday to allow time to fill out a new tech sheet and have your car inspected. Gates open at 7:30am on Sunday with driver’s meeting at 9am.

MEMBERS: Please arrive early to help us with tech inspections and setup!

Bring canned goods or some dollars to donate and receive a raffle entry for a free race day! All proceeds will be donated to the Mission.

01.22.2017 Race Postponed Due to Weather!

The weather forecast for Sunday has worsened over the week and is now calling for thunderstorms for much of the day Sunday.  While we love to play in the rain, we want everyone to stay safe.  After a consult with Troy, Ray, and Randy, we are canceling this weekend’s activities at the race track.  No clean-up/set-up today and no race on Sunday.
We hope to be able to reschedule – I will send out an update early in the week if we are able to race next weekend, Sunday 1/29.  The website and Facebook will also be updated with the latest status.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience!  I hope you all have a great weekend and stay dry.

Pre-season race #1 is on this weekend!

Setup is Saturday 01.21.2017 starting at 2pm.  We plan to spruce up the timing trailer and have a good old fashioned cone culling in addition to setting up the track for the race and should be done before 5pm.  Randy Phelps is our Race Director and will bring us the maps for setup.  The weather is going to be wet, so plan accordingly!   Please arrive early enough on Sunday to allow time to fill out a new tech sheet and have your car inspected.  Gates open at 7:30am on Sunday 01.22.2017 with driver’s meeting at 9am.

2017 Race Season Updates!

New Meeting Place
We will be meeting the 3rd Tuesday of each month at Angelo’s Pizza Parlor at 1774 California St in Redding. Our first meeting of the year will be on Tuesday, January 17th at 7pm. Please join us early for social hour!
 
For the January race setup on Saturday, 01.21.2017, we will also be doing a clean up of the timing trailer and culling the bad cones. Tentative start time is 2pm. We’ll discuss more in our first meeting.
 
I will send out an email reminder the week prior to the meeting so please be sure you are receiving email updates from the club.
 
Membership is due for 2017! You can always mail a check to our P.O. Box, or bring it to our first meeting in January. Membership is still only $30 for individuals or $35 for families.
