Racing 9/25/16

Hello Everyone,

We have some really good drivers this weekend. The weather was just perfect to race not to hot and we had a breeze all day long. Our group was the smallest we have had all season but all very good drivers and the track was just perfect that Brian Berry was nice enough to volunteer to do and everyone loved the track. So a big thank you to Brian for such a great job.

Congrats to you both for a job well done. Want to thank all our people who came to set up the track it turns out so nice when everyone chips in to help. So thank you all our set up people and our tear down people too which are normally the same people. Thank you to Danny again for the water cooler I used it again even today.

OK I have a bit of news for you all we have a few people who have been nominated for the board next year just so you keep this in mind. You all need to join in on this and nominate some people and I have to check with them to see if they want to run or not. So get your nominations in asap. The following have been nominated so far:

President:

Brian Berry
Chase Warner (Chase is not sure if he can do this yet but I will keep you all informed)

Secretary:

Brian Berry
Barbara Phelps

we have no one to be vice president and that person doesn’t do much to begin with but we have to have one so start thinking all of you that are members and there are a lot of you out there.

I will also keep you informed about the Year End Party once I get a count of how many of you are going to attend.

Get the nominations into me by the end of October and let me know about the Year End Party by October 15th. If I don’t hear from you I will take it you will not be attending.

Have a great month and we will see you at our next meeting on October 18th and then we will be racing on October 22ne & 23rd and we have our BBQ which Randy has informed me that he will be the cook again. No kidding around he is the best at the BBQ’s. See you and have a wonderful month.

Year End Party 11/5/16

Hello Everyone,
This is just kind of a let you know as we go kind of thing.  Our year end party is going to be on November 5th at 6:00 PM.  I need a count of how many of you are planning to attend so that I can let the catering people know.  We are going to have mexican food that is very good.
I also have a couple of bad emails for the following people:  Jackson Bevier and Shawn McNelly so please make sure to let me know if you are going to attend the party.
So I need to know by 10/15.

Racing this weekend 9/25/16

Hello Everyone,

We had a very nice meeting last night. It only consisted of 10 members which two were board members. Our meetings are getting very small. I know that a lot of

you live far out but we still need your input on things for the club.

We are racing this weekend set up is saturday at 5:00 if you can make it and the

gates will open on sunday at 7:30 like normal. Please make sure you drink a lot of water its going to be warm again.

I am still working on the year end party but we have some back up plans if we can’t get the clubhouse.

Now this is very important you need to start thinking about the new board for next year. Richard doesn’t want to run again. He has been a great president for the club and I want to thank him for doing it. All nominations need to be into Sharon by the end of October we will vote on them at the November meeting. Now since you all live out a ways, please remember you can email me with who you would like to nominate and Sharon will add them to the list. I have to let everyone who is nominated know ahead of time in case they don’t want to do it. So start thinking about this and get back to me.

Meeting Tuesday Nite

Hello Everyone,

Well its that time again for another one of our great meetings. It will be this Tuesday at the Sailing Boat our social hour is 6:00 PM and the meeting starts at 7:00 PM.

Please try to make this meeting we are going to be discussing the election for board members for next year, our next race, the BBQ in October which will be our last race for the year and also the year end party. Lots going on so try to make it if you can.

At this meeting we will be taking nominations for the board for next year and then we will vote in November either at the next meeting or at the year end party. If you can’t make the meeting and want to vote you can email me and let me know who you wish to vote for I will keep all the emails in case something is questioned. After we have all the nominations in I will email everyone with who is running and if you want to elect someone and can’t make the meeting also email me with that information and we will add it on to the list after we find out if the person is willing to do it. So we should have all nominations in by the next meeting which is October 18th.
